“Corporate UTS Adviser” or “CUTA” means a licensed financial planner registered with FIMM and authorised to market and distributed unit trust schemes of another party.

Registration of CUTA

Eligibility for registration of CUTA

Pursuant to FIMM’s Consolidated Rules, the eligibility requirements for registration as an IUTA is a corporation which is:-

 (1) Is a holder of Capital Market Services License (“CMSL”) to carry out the regulated activity of:

        (a) Financial planning; and

        (b) Dealing in securities or dealing in securities restricted to unit trust schemes; and

(2) Possess a professional indemnity insurance contract that  indemnifies the corporation,its officers and its UTS  Consultants against claims,with a minimum coverage of Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Thousand (RM 200,000) at all times.

CUTA Fee Structure

CUTA Application Fee

An application for registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable Application Fees of RM 2,120 ( inclusive GST of 6%) and Annual Fees of RM 530 ( inclusive of GST of 6%)

Cuta Annual Fee

  • CUTA annual fee is payable in January of each year
  • CUTA annual fee is total of:
CUTA (not related to Financial Institution) CUTA (related to Financial Institution)
CUTA Annual Fee RM530 RM21,200
UTS Consultant Factor (per consultant) RM53 RM53
UTS Card Fee (per consultant) RM3.18 RM3.18
